15Thousand Farmers' 15th Day Celebration - Wednesday, August 15th from 6:00 -8:00 pm.
Deborah Vice, the garden manager at Dismas Charity St. Ann, will speak and lead a
discussion about "canning and preserving tomatoes and the other veggies
you have too much of right now."
It will be this Wed 8/15 from 6-8 pm in the Chapel at Dismas Charity St. Ann, 1515 Algonquin Parkway.
Come on out, it'll be fun! Bring a tasty local dish to share, if you can. We'll have something cool to drink.

Hands On Workshop at Wallitsch Nursery and Garden Center
Saturday, June 9th, from noon to 1 pm.
15Thousand Farmers is partnering with Wallitsch Nursery and Garden Center to build and maintain a demonstration/test/teaching garden space. This will feature containers, raised beds and vertical gardening with trellises and "Wooly Pockets."
Join us for a "hands on" workshop on Saturday, June 9th at Wallitsch Garden Center, 2608 Hikes Lane, from noon to 1 pm.

15Thousand Farmers' Food Growing Open House at our Growing Center at Dismas St. Ann
Join us for an open house in our demonstration gardens. Seeing so many different vegetables in different stages of their growth will inspire you to start or continue your food growing. Come out and see how Deb and Steve Vice and volunteers have created such a beautiful and bountiful garden!
